... It's about time, right? That's what all of you are saying right now (like more than one person reads this thing anyway... thanks for your support Ben). For the rest of you plebs intent on cheating yourselves of humor and wit who do not read this blog I am here to inform you that I am engaged to be married to Brandi. I asked her to marry me this last Saturday. I wont tell the story of the proposal... that's her thing and she tells it better anyway. Let's just say she was sure it was a DVD or some paltry excuse for a birthday gift. The subterfuge was thick like so many VC in the jungles at the Tet offensive in '68. She was absolutely blindsided... almost as blindsided as my Dad! But I digress. We will not set a date until I have a chance to see when my Mom will be able to come back to the States, which is another post entirely. We also have no idea where the honeymoon will be. In fact we don't know a whole hell of a lot. The important part at this point is love and a big ass diamond. By the way, I will be calling everyone who owes me money. My wallet is a tad light since I bought that damn ring. If you can't pay right now, don't worry about it. I've recently learned a lot about the slave culture of ancient Rome and I am down for some servitude in lieu of cash payment. Also, I will be accepting all suggestions for the wedding and more importantly where we should register for all of the cool shit that we get because we are getting married!

Oh wow, congratulations! We are so excited for you two. Brandon just asked me the other day ... "Is he engaged yet?"
The ring is beautiful, you did a great job. So happy for you :)
Thanks Lori! I will need your address now so we can send you an invite. Of course, I certainly don't expect you to come with a new little guy. He will probably be about 4 months old when we get married.
Be in touch...
